The Role

Christ the King College is a joint Church of England and Catholic College on the Isle of Wight, providing a Christian education underpinned by Gospel values and reflecting both Church of England and Catholic traditions. It operates under the auspices of both the Church of England and Catholic Dioceses of Portsmouth. 


The school has over 1,100 students on roll, including a Sixth Form College of about 200 students. It is a well-established comprehensive school, which is well supported by parents and highly respected in the community. 


We are looking for a highly motivated, suitably qualified and experienced colleague to lead and manage our Premises/Facilities and Technical Support Team. Our ideal candidates will have excellent organisational and management skills, have a sound understanding of facilities management, health & safety and building technology, take pride in their work and enjoy working with young people and have the energy, drive and passion to ensure our students have a safe and enjoyable learning environment to enable them to achieve their potential.

The salary is set a range and the final agreed Scale Point will depend on candidates' skills and experience. We are hoping to be able to hold interviews during the week commencing 19th September 2022, but this may be subject to change. We would like to appoint for a contract start date of 1st November 2022 or as soon as is possible.
