Christ the King College is a joint Church of England and Catholic College on the Isle of Wight, providing a Christian education underpinned by Gospel values and reflecting both Church of England and Catholic traditions. It operates under the auspices of both the Church of England and Catholic Dioceses of Portsmouth. The school has over 1,100 students on roll, including a Sixth Form College of about 200 students. It is a well-established comprehensive school, which is well supported by parents and highly respected in the community.
We are looking to appoint Year Team Assistants to join our Pastoral Support Team. The successful candidate will embody the College's values; someone who has diverse experience, as well as a passion for working with young people and their families. Our ideal candidate will have excellent teamwork and communication skills, the ability and enthusiasm to make a difference with students who have a range of needs. The Year Team Assistant plays a crucial part in the effective safeguarding of children and young people.
